Bike Routes 

The "Desenzano bike" routes - created with the contribution of the Lombardy Region - therefore respond to two emerging demands, that of slow and conscious tourism, curious and respectful of the places it crosses, and that of physical activity in the open air, healthy and able to restore well-being to the body and mind. And they lend themselves equally well to encouraging cycling as an alternative to the car.

The routes

1-2) LAKEFRONT- Desenzano e Rivoltella - Desenzano and Rivoltella The 8 km route crosses the entire municipal area in front of the lake, from the border with Lonato to that with Sirmione, intersecting the connections with the internal routes: from the "golden beach" to the railway station and from Rivoltella to the countryside behind. This allows you to close the itinerary by returning from the red ring.

3) RED Ring - Centenaro - The ring runs for 19 km and passes through the towns of Centenaro and Montonale basso and areas of interest such as the pile-dwelling site of Lavagnone. It allows an easy connection with the area of San Martino della Battaglia.

4) SAN MARTINO - San Martino della Battaglia
The short 6 km route is a link between the red ring, the town of San Martino and the monumental complex of the famous Risorgimento tower, alternating places of historical interest with enchanting hills planted with vineyards.

5) GREEN Ring  - Vaccarolo
Vaccarolo 15 km long and slightly undulating, it partly overlaps with the red ring, and then develops south of the municipal territory going to lap the localities of Vaccarolo, San Bernardino and Locustione, in a landscape dotted with farmhouses and cultivated fields.
